I corresponded with John online – about grocery stores and neighborhoods, months before the real work together to find the right house. He was so good to find out my requirements and make recommendations with his online portal. This portal – with the listings I wanted to think about – made me feel connected to the real estate in Williamsburg even though I was far away in France. His on-line blogs and letters written about the community made me aware of his vast knowledge and style. I felt I knew a lot about him and Williamsburg before meeting. On the other hand, my husband got to know him face to face when actually being shown around. He has been quick to provide answers (from developers and others) and documentation (such as the many pages of Rules and Regulations in New Town), as we considered several properties. His computer expertise has eased the receipt and dissemination of information, including the scanning of executed documents that I can send along to my attorney. John’s presentation of past sales, viewed on the screen in your conference room and then printed out, allowed me to make a well informed offer on a property in New Town.

John has a unique ability to look at property through the eyes of his client. His support was especially good for someone considering a purchase from far away. Virtual tours of properties and many digital photographs of interiors, exteriors, and neighborhoods arrived on my laptop and allowed me to have a much better sense of each property in advance of my visit.

They said that they felt he earned his commission and told us they were glad we chose him.
