Eat Local @ Williamsburg Library

The Williamsburg library is hosting Eat Local, every Monday in March to learn about how people grow, harvest, and create local food — first up, is Vic Spain of the Tidewater Oyster Gardeners Association, who will offer a history of oysters in the Chesapeake Bay.

Speakers for later in the month include Amy Hicks owner of Amy’s Garden who will talk about organic gardening.

Sandi Gauthier from Gauthier Vineyard Who will speak about how she got into winemaking.

And Patrick Curry from Fayton Farms Artisan Cheeses Who discusses the craft of artisan cheese.
