Foreclosure Alert Brandon Woods Williamsburg VA

Historically the James City County / Williamsburg Virginia area did not encounter the high percentage of foreclosures that we saw in some regions of the US. Overall property values in the region did not drop anywhere near what they dropped in the Arizona, Florida and other hard hit areas.

But as a result, they didn’t rise back up like they are doing in some of those other regions. Since there aren’t many foreclosures in Williamsburg I thought I would post an upcoming one that will be listed for sale in the Brandon Woods neighborhood.

Although we don’t have a price yet I can tell you that this home was listed for sale in 2016 for 399K.

It’s also not your typical foreclosure in that it is immaculately kept and freshly painted.

Brandon Woods is a unique neighborhood in that the homes are detached but the yards are maintained by the homeowners association. The HOA also takes care of painting the complete exteriors of the home every five years. All of this for a pretty reasonable monthly fee. ( Currently $270 monthly)

If you’d like to take a look at this home I’ll be happy to alert you when it does hit the market. That will probably be in the next few weeks.

Here are a few photos from when it was on the market previously
