Smokin Hot BBQ in Williamsburg VA April 26, 2014

On Saturday, April 26, The Kiwanis Club of Williamsburg will hold our 4th annual Smokin’ Hot Barbecue Fest on the lawn of Walsingham Academy from 3- 7 p.m. In case of rain, the Fest will be held in the McCauley Auditorium in the Walsingham Upper School. A donation of $10 is requested for admission. Children 12 and under accompanied by an adult are free. I have attached the flyer with the details. Please forward the flyer to your friends and family. Tickets are available in advance at www.williamsburgkiwanis.org or at the door.

Thanks to the generosity of Patriot Buick, music will be provided by the Smith Wade Band and Herbie D and the Dangermen. Attendees also can test out their skills at cornhole boards. Food and drink are for sale. Whisky Hill BBQ will provide an enhanced a la carte menu this year including pork and chicken BBQ, beef brisket, hot dogs and French fries. 16-ounce Legend Lager or Bud Light will be sold for $4 or two for $7. Williamsburg Winery wines will be available for purchase, as will popcorn, peanuts and a variety of other soft drinks.

A raffle with multiple prizes will raise money for local charities as well as the Kiwanis International ELIMINATE project, while also giving attendees a chance to win donated prizes from local businesses. Proceeds will benefit Avalon, Bacon Street, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Come join us for a good time and help us raise funds for local charities!
