Williamsburg VA Real Estate Sales Recap March 2018

While new listings were up 8.3% in the Williamsburg, Virginia area for March compared to the same time last year, closed sales were off just under 3%, according to the latest home sales report published by the Williamsburg VA Area Association of REALTORS®.
On the positive side, inventory levels are better, which is great news in a market that’s been tough for buyers. At the end of March, there were 641 housing units on the market, which is up 16% over last year’s figures.
Closed sales were up 23% in the attached (condo/townhouse) market in March compared to last year, with new listings up 49%. The median list price was $245,000, and media days on market was only 25.
