DESTINATION GOLF: WILLIAMSBURG | Part 1: Revolutionary golf in Virginia

You know Colonial Williamsburg as a destination for history buffs. But Williamsburg has become a bonafide golf destination, too, with more than a dozen courses dotting the varied landscape, designed by renowned architectural figures like Robert Trent Jones, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Mike Strantz. And Williamsburg’s location makes it ideally suited for a road-trip destination from anywhere on the Eastern seaboard. In Part 1 of Destination Golf, we start at Pirate’s Cove before taking on all 45 holes at the renowned Golden Horseshoe Golf Club and finish with a night on the town at Precarious Beer Hall where they had tacos and beer on Taco Tuesday (starts at 8:29)
