City of Williamsburg Chosen as One of the Top Digital Cities in the U.S.

As a local Williamsburg, Virginia real estate agent, I am proud to share the exciting news that the City of Williamsburg has been recognized as one of the top digital cities in the United States. The City placed sixth in the United States of populations less than 75,000 in the Center for Digital Government’s (CDG) 2023 Digital Cities Survey.

This prestigious recognition is a testament to the City’s commitment to utilizing technology to improve the lives of its residents. The CDG specifically highlighted the City’s efforts to expand broadband service, enhance its cellular infrastructure, and strengthen its Mobile Integrated Healthcare program.

“Innovation is a core value for the City of Williamsburg, and we are honored to be recognized for our efforts to provide the best possible experience for our residents,” said Chief Information Officer Mark Barham. “We are committed to continuing to find new and innovative ways to use technology to meet the needs of our community.”

As a longtime resident of Williamsburg, I have witnessed firsthand the benefits of the City’s digital initiatives. These initiatives have made it easier for residents to access government services, stay connected with their community, and enjoy a higher quality of life.

I encourage prospective homebuyers who are considering a move to Williamsburg to learn more about the City’s digital achievements. This recognition is just one of the many reasons why Williamsburg is a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

Sincerely,

John Womeldorf aka Mr. Williamsburg
