In 1997, Joe and Pat Healey found their perfect home in Queens Lake—a unique contemporary retreat nestled against the serene backdrop of New Quarter Park. After nearly three decades of making memories, they reached out to me in September 2024, ready to transition to an independent living community nearby. During our first meeting, we discussed the best strategy to prepare their home for sale. Like many homeowners who’ve lived in one place for decades, they had accumulated a lifetime of possessions. To simplify the process, we decided the best approach was to empty the house before listing it. Williamsburg Estate Sale was brought in to handle the excess furniture and belongings. Once the house was cleared, we tackled some maintenance updates, including installing new carpeting upstairs and making a few additional improvements to ensure it was market-ready.

Their home was truly one of a kind—contemporary architecture is rare in Williamsburg, making it a standout in the Queens Lake community. The private lot backing up to New Quarter Park only added to its appeal. It didn’t take long for the right buyer to appreciate everything this property had to offer.
