City of Williamsburg Asks for Public Input on College Woods Multi use trail Project

The City of Williamsburg is asking for public input on Phase 2 of the College Woods Circuit project.

This phase will create a multi-use trail along Strawberry Plains Road and John Tyler Lane from Berkeley Middle School to Berkeley Lane. It is part of the larger College Woods Circuit project, which aims to create a network of trails that circumnavigate College Woods as part of the City’s goal to create better access and connections for all modes of transportation throughout the City.

The input form, as well as a conceptual design and general project information, can be found at https://collegewoodscircuit2.timmons.com/

All comments collected during the public outreach process will be considered by the City of Williamsburg. To talk with a City representative about this project, contact City Engineer Aaron Small at 757-220-6140 or [email protected]

The input form will be open through Oct. 29, 2021.

The City of Williamsburg is currently pursuing funding opportunities for Phase 2. It is the City’s goal to secure state and federal funds to offset the local cost for this project. This public input process is in support of these funding applications.
