Did You Know the Williamsburg Library is the Coolest Place in Town? Seriously.
If you’re imagining dusty bookshelves and whisper-only zones, it’s time for a reboot. The Williamsburg Regional Library has quietly (or not-so-quietly, in the case of Nintendo Switch day or Glowforge crafting!) become one of the most vibrant, dynamic, and downright fun places in our area. And whether you’re 6 or 96, there’s something on the calendar this week just for you.

Here’s a quick peek at a single week—April 7 through 13—and trust me, this is just a taste of what the library cooks up all year long. (Spoiler: you can sign up for updates right here so you never miss out.)

Why I Share These Stories
Hi, I’m John Womeldorf—also known as Mr. Williamsburg. I’ve lived in this area for over 20 years and help folks buy, sell, and fall in love with homes across the Historic Triangle and beyond. I write these articles because I believe real estate is about so much more than square footage—it’s about community, connection, and knowing where to find the good stuff (like a hidden fairy garden workshop or a LEGO tournament).
Have a question about a neighborhood? Want to chat about homes near your favorite library branch? I’d love to help.
