Fords Colony Country Club Update
Important developments are taking place for Ford’s Colony Country Club Members. As of Tuesday, April 7th, Traditional Golf Management will no longer oversee the day to day operations of the club.
Fords Colony Country Club was purchased in November of 2012 by a joint venture of Accord Golf Capital and Och-Ziff Real Estate. On March 20th, an agreement was reached, whereby Dallas based ClubCorp (NYSE: MYCC) will acquire a multi-club portfolio of six golf clubs including Fords 
Colony Country Club from Och-Ziff Real Estate. ClubCorp will also assume management of the clubs when the transaction is finalized.
ClubCorp is a leading owner-operator of over 200 golf, country, business, sports and alumni clubs throughout the United States. They have owned and managed private clubs since 1957. More information can be found about the potential new ownership entity at www.clubcorp.com.
Goals for management include: facilitating a smooth and seamless transition with only a positive impact on our members and the club facilities, maintaining the positive atmosphere and momentum currently in place at Ford’s Colony Country Club, and working hard to make certain services levels and quality standards are not interrupted during the transition process.
