Save the Dates! Yorktown Bluegrass & Beyond and Williamsburg Live 2027
Two great weekends of live music are coming to Greater Williamsburg in 2027!
The Virginia Arts Festival is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2027, and two exciting outdoor music festivals are already on the calendar.
Yorktown Bluegrass & Beyond — May 15–16, 2027
Location: Riverfront Landing, Historic Yorktown
I’m particularly excited about this one!
Making its debut in 2027, Yorktown Bluegrass & Beyond will celebrate the roots of bluegrass while exploring the many directions the music has taken, from traditional bluegrass to progressive sounds, Americana, and beyond.
With Yorktown’s beautiful waterfront as the backdrop, visitors can enjoy great music, food, regional wines, and everything historic Yorktown has to offer.
Artist announcements and additional details are coming soon.
Williamsburg Live — June 25–27, 2027
Location: Colonial Williamsburg
Williamsburg Live has become one of our area’s signature summer music events, bringing nationally recognized performers to the heart of historic Williamsburg.
There’s something special about enjoying great live music on a summer evening surrounded by centuries of history.
The 2027 headliners have yet to be announced, so stay tuned!
Celebrating 30 Years of Virginia Arts Festival
These two events are just part of the Virginia Arts Festival’s much larger 2027 season, featuring music, dance, theater, and performances throughout Hampton Roads.
The Festival presents more than 250 performances annually and generates an estimated $25 million in regional economic impact.
Watch for additional artist announcements, ticket information, and the full calendar of upcoming events.
Visit Virginia Arts Festival for updates.
As a longtime live music fan, I’m thrilled to see these events bringing even more great music to our area.
Mark your calendars, and I’ll see you at the shows!
