About Canaan Smith:
Williamsburg’s own Canaan Smith, a graduate of Lafayette High School in James City County, burst onto the country music scene in 2015 with his PLATINUM-selling hit “Love You Like That,” the lead single from his critically acclaimed album BRONCO. The song quickly climbed to the top of Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, cementing Smith’s status as one of country music’s hottest rising stars.

Known for his high-energy performances, Smith has toured with some of the biggest names in country music, including Dierks Bentley on the 2015 Sounds of Summer Tour and Brantley Gilbert on the 2018 Blackout Tour. Recently, he signed a new record deal with his college friends Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelly of Florida Georgia Line, leading to extensive touring alongside the superstar duo.

In addition to his own music, Smith has made a name for himself as a prolific songwriter, contributing to multiple tracks on Florida Georgia Line’s latest record and seven songs on Brian Kelley’s solo album. His songwriting talents also feature on HARDY’s Hixtape Vol. II, including the Morgan Wallen collaboration “Goin’ Nowhere,” with pending cuts for artists like Jake Owen and Tyler Hubbard.

Growing up in Williamsburg and graduating from Lafayette High School, Canaan Smith’s journey from a local talent to a country music star has been nothing short of inspiring. His reputation for crafting well-written songs and delivering dynamic live performances makes this a must-attend event for country music fans in Williamsburg.

Don’t miss your chance to experience Canaan Smith live at Jamestown Jams—it’s going to be an evening to remember!
