Dancing with the Williamsburg Stars this weekend

Twelve new stars, the best pros, glitter and all the glam are back for a fourth installment of Dancing with the Williamsburg Stars.  From doctors and professors to bankers and architects, these brave business people have accepted the challenge to train with a professional dancer and compete in front of a live audience and distinguished panel of judges this Saturday, March 2nd.  2013, at 7 p.m. in Phi Beta Kappa Hall on the campus of the College of William and Mary.

The stars have been carefully selected to bring it on with personality, pizzazz and ability to learn some of the sexiest salsas, fantastic foxtrots and more, all for a great cause. The event benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Virginia Peninsula and Literacy for Life at the Rita Welsh Adult Learning Center.

“Last year’s Dancing with the Williamsburg Stars was a huge success and the whole event raised the bar to a new level. Bringing in close to $80,000, nearly selling out the 700-seat theatre and putting on a show no one will forget was an amazing achievement for our stars and organizations” said Ken Johnston, event co-chair. “We’re very grateful to our 2012 stars and look forward to another sensational evening in March.”

Tickets can be purchased at the Phi Beta Kappa box office on Jamestown Road or by phone at (757) 221-2674, or online at www.wm.tix.com.
