Get your blues on at Blues and Brews in Gloucester Oct 6th 2012
Come to Gloucester VA and get your blues on! Saturday, October 6 is the date for Main Street Blues and Brews, Gloucester Main Street Association’s annual blues and beer festival. Blues and Brews has become a very popular – annual event. Five great blues bands, 30 handcrafted microbrews, special dishes from Main Street restaurants, and a great location right in the Court House are the right recipe for a fantastic fall day.
In its third year, Blues and Brews has already become a tradition; last year the event drew over 1,000 people from as far north as Washington, DC and south to NC

Come out and enjoy over 30 different microbrews including St. George, Allagash Brewery, Williamsburg Alewerks, Bluegrass Brewing Company and many more.
The live music begins at 12 noon and will feature local and regional acts including: M.S.G. The Acoustic Blues Trio (12 noon – 1:00PM),Andrew Alli & Last Night’s Blues Band (1:30PM -2:30PM), The JD Silvia Band Featuring Anthony Rosano(3:00PM – 4:00PM), Lisa Lim Band (4:30PM – 5:30PM) and Gloucester’s own Planet Full of Blues (6:00 – 7:00PM). Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the gate. Ticket price includes: souvenir glass with event logo, 4 drink tickets and all day access to musical lineup. Wine will also be available. While there, beer and blues connoisseurs may purchase culinary delights from Main Street Restaurants on site. Tickets are for sale online now and can be purchased from Kelsick Market starting September 1st!
