Jamestown Jams returns for 2019

Jamestown Jams is returning for the fourth year to the Jamestown Beach Event Park!

Come and enjoy free live music on May 31, June 28, July 26 and Aug. 30, 2019 .

Each concert will have a theme and feature a different band.

  • Friday, May 31, Motown Night featuring Trademark
  • Friday, June 28, Today’s Hits featuring The Tight Slacks, The Chex Party Mix® of cover bands
  • Friday, July 26, 80s Night featuring The Deloreans, America’s favorite 80s Showband
  • Friday, Aug. 30, Jazz Night featuring Good Shot Judy

New this year, James City County Parks & Recreation and Williamsburg PickUp Games will be sponsoring spikeball and cornhole tournaments at select concerts beginning at 6 p.m. Spikeball will be presented at the June concert and will be free. Cornhole will be presented at the July and August concerts and will be $10 per team. Cornhole tournaments are limited to a maximum of 32 teams. Preregistration is encouraged, but not required. Tournaments are available to ages 10 and up. Registration is available online using the below codes:

  • June – 806100-A
  • July – 806100-B
  • August – 806100-C

Entrance will open for each Jamestown Jams concert at 5:30 p.m. Concerts will take place on a grassy field within Jamestown Beach Event Park. (Admission to Jamestown Jams is free.) Parking will be behind the old Jamestown Campground building at 2205 Jamestown Road adjacent to Jamestown Settlement.

Snacks, picnics and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted. All items are subject to inspection prior to entrance. No alcohol or large, plastic coolers are permitted. Assorted beer will be available for purchase from The Arc of Greater Williamsburg and the Williamsburg Winery will be on hand pouring fine wines. Vendors will be present selling food and snacks. Vendors will vary at each concert.

Pets are not permitted at Jamestown Jams for the safety of all attendees. Only service animals will be permitted entrance to Jamestown Jams. Chairs and blankets are permitted.

Jamestown Beach will remain open to patrons during each concert and will follow its regular operating schedule.
