MAD about Chocolate to reopen this week

Have you had a craving for sweets since MAD about Chocolate closed its doors in January? After a winter in transition, the Williamsburg, VA, restaurant will reopen this week. MAD about Chocolate, created by Marcel Desaulniers in 2012, has been purchased by Mike Riordan, who has years of experience in restaurants and food service before moving to Williamsburg in 2014. The restaurant and gallery will reopen in their previous location in Williamsburg’s Triangle Building, with the menu, recipes, and staff that you have missed these last few months, including head baker Alton Boyd. Riordan has worked over the last couple of months with Boyd and Desaulniers to perfect the recipes. The restaurant will be open 9 am to 9 pm Monday through Saturday, and 11 am to 7 pm Sunday, and will serve lunch and dinner daily, as well as all the favorite treats! They are open to the public beginning Thursday, March 24, at 9 am. The space will also continue to function as a gallery, so take home an original painting along with that brownie!
