The Washington Redskins summer training camp will be moving to vacant land behind the Science Museum of Virginia, just one part of a $40 million private investment in Richmond to be announced today that also will include the development of two other sites and create more than 200 jobs, according to a city official with knowledge of the agreement.
Specifics and financing details will be outlined by Mayor Dwight C. Jones in a news conference this afternoon, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the agreement between the city and an unnamed "investor/sponsor" had yet to be finalized.
