Tribefest for the Cure 2014

This year, the Mason School of Business at the College of William & Mary will host the Third Annual TribeFest for the Cure, a music festival benefitting the Tidewater affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  Over our first two years, TribeFest has raised over $12,000 for breast cancer research, education, and advocacy – all while keeping the funds in the local area.

It is truly an event for the whole community, as attendees included students from the College’s graduate and undergraduate programs, as well as members of the Williamsburg community both young and old.  There is something for everyone at TribeFest: face painting and moon bounces for kids, educational materials for the curious, a silent auction and a wine raffle for the philanthropically inclined, live local bands for audiophiles, beverages for adults and the older college students, as well as local food for everyone.

If you want to get involved, you can do so in several ways.   First and foremost, you can – and should – come.  You can become a sponsor by donating a monetary amount or food and beverages. You can also donate wine for our wine raffle or other items for our silent auction, including gift certificates and prize packages.  There is no maximum limit on donations – feel free to give as much as you or your company are able.  You will be supporting a great cause and will be able to see the immediate impact you have on your community.

TribeFest for the Cure will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 2:00-8:00pm in the courtyard of Miller Hall at the College of William & Mary
