Williamsburg Farmers Market Delivers!
The market is cancelled through April 24.
When we opened for the season 3 weeks ago, we had no idea that the very next Saturday we’ve be closed because of COVID-19.
Today, the market will is launching its online market and we will begin offering delivery direct to your door. We hope to keep farmers farming, bakers baking, and watermen on the water!
Because of the time it takes farmers, bakers, and watermen to prepare for Friday’s deliveries, the online market will close this evening at midnight!
YOU can be part of our very first week of farm fresh deliveries!
Here’s how it works: Order until midnight tonight (orders will close Wednesdays at 5 pm moving forward), and pay right online. You will be texted Friday morning a short time window when your food will be delivered. If you ordered something that requires refrigeration, we will remind you to leave a cooler out. A friendly market team member will drop you order off on your front porch. (All staff, vendors, and volunteers will be washing our hands, wearing gloves, and changing them frequently!)
Not all of our vendors have opted to participate, and some are still planning to do pop ups here and there while we are closed. We will do our best to share their information on Facebook. If you don’t have facebook, feel free to call or email me or them directly to find out how to connect. You can also look on our website under vendors for information.

We are offering delivery service to Williamsburg and Newport News for order of $17 or more. Items include 12oz bags of coffee and nitro growers with fills. Customers can order in advance by phone for delivery. We are also offering shipping online as well.

Due to the temporary closure of the Williamsburg Farmers Market because of the coronavirus precautions Moose Hill Worm Farm would like to offer market customers in the Williamsburg area the option to call in an order for worm castings and I will deliver it to your home. This would allow anyone that will be staying at home the ability to get outside and work in your garden even if other activities aren’t available and something where you would not be having extra contact in the community. Please call me at 757-879-6996 to discuss your needs. We have 5, 13 and 25 in bags available in any combinations to make any amount you need. Prices are $9, $13 and $25 respectively and 25% discount for more than 70 lbs. if you also have a need for knife sharpening I can address that when you call also.
