Colonial Williamsburg Offers Free Admission to Military Families for Veterans Day Weekend

This Veterans Day Weekend, Colonial Williamsburg offers free admission to all active-duty military, veterans, and their families from Nov. 8-11 through the “Honoring Service to America” program, supported by a $100,000 grant from The Home Depot Foundation. Special Veterans Day events include a proclamation on Palace Green at 10 a.m., a Veterans Day Salute & Procession at 3:30 p.m., and a “Salute to the Heroes” bagpipe performance at 4:40 p.m. on Nov. 11. Military families can also visit the Liberty Lounge for refreshments. Free single-day passes are available with proper ID at ticket locations.
