Village Walk-Williamsburg VA

Village Walk at New Town is one of the community’s newest townhome neighborhoods. Its located in the Settlers Market portion of New Town.

Built in phases between 2009 and 2014, Settlers Market is the commercial anchor of the 395-acre New Town planned development, a live-work-shop community.

In addition to Trader Joe’s, Fresh Market and an adjacent Walmart Neighborhood Market, other stores include Michaels, HomeGoods, ULTA Beauty, Stein Mart, Cost Plus World Market, Pier 1 Imports, and several restaurants including Zoes,  Which Wich and Noodles & Co.

Situated on 36 acres on Settlers Market Boulevard, the center is located at the mid-point of Route 199, which connects north and south to Interstate 64 and provides access from Williamsburg, James City County and the Peninsula region.

The spacious and energy-efficient townhomes at Village Walk range in size from 2,046 – 2,148 square feet, and all include 2-car garages. They offer 2-4 bedrooms and 2–3.5 baths, with amenities such as maple kitchen cabinets and granite countertops.  There is a wide variety of floor plans — including dual or first-floor master suites and a 4thfloor bonus room — and luxury options such as a fireplace,  elevators,  or  high-end, “ultimate master bath.” The builder has recently unveiled a new two floor model with first floor master bedrooms.

The vibrancy and convenience of an urban lifestyle combined with the friendliness and green spaces of small-town living: that is New Town in Williamsburg, Virginia. Located adjacent to The College of William and Mary, this 365-acre, mixed-use “New Urbanism” community offers 1,000 homes – from condominiums and apartments to single-family detached — within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, banks, professional offices, parks, a movie theatre, and even a nationally recognized pre-school. As one resident sums it up, “You can get to most anything you need without getting in your car.”

These charming two and  three story townhomes at Village Walk are the perfect place to call home.  And don’t forget the optional roof terraces — your private escape among the lush treetops.

About mrwilliamsburg

I love Williamsburg !
Being “Mr. Williamsburg” and starting my web site in 2004 has been a great way for me to help people looking for homes for sale, communities and an “insider knowledge.” of the area.
Turned out I was onto something. Because I offer in-depth information and up-to-the-minute blogging, even international clients have found me. One couple, moving back to the States from France, told me that a post I wrote blog about grocery shopping in Williamsburg convinced them that Williamsburg was the place to be, and that I was the best source by far that they found on the web.
I’m happy to say that I hear similar comments from many of my clients looking for homes throughout Williamsburg and Hampton Roads.
I grew up in Virginia Beach, Va, After attending college, I worked at a number of positions including manager of a land development and construction company and business manager of a cut flower business that we grew in sales from $300,000 to $15 million (we were supplier to Whole Foods and one of the first cut flower suppliers to Costco).
In 2004, it seemed like a good time to simplify my life. I moved my family from Annapolis to Williamsburg. I went into real estate with Liz Moore and Associates, and was one of the initial agents when Liz opened her Williamsburg branch.
My sons Zach and Josh attend Lafayette High School and Hornsby Middle School and are crazy about sports and the outdoors.
I feel lucky to be living the dream, and saving two to four hours by not driving on the DC beltway every day. So, I can now spend my time with family while concentrating on learning — and sharing — information about living in Williamsburg.
In real estate, no two people or transactions are the same. Everything’s a challenge, and I’m rewarded every time in close a transaction and have the opportunity to see the smiles on clients’ faces.
